About Monero Wallet Guide

Monero Wallet Guide is an independent, free guide to Monero (XMR): wallets, buying and selling, fees, mining, privacy and the rules in each country. We write in plain language for people who are new to Monero, and keep the facts dated so you can see how current they are.

What we are not

We are not the Monero Project, and we are not affiliated with any wallet, exchange or service mentioned on this site. We do not hold funds, run a wallet service or provide support for any product.

Why we don't link out

Phishing copies of Monero wallets are common, and a link can be swapped or spoofed. So we name official websites as plain text and ask you to type them yourself or use a bookmark you trust. Our sources are named by publisher and date so you can look them up.

How we are funded

We have no affiliate links and are not paid by anyone we review. If that ever changes, we will say so on every affected page.

Accuracy

Wallets, exchanges and laws change often. Every page shows when it was last updated. Found an error? Email [email protected].
