Multi-coin wallets that support Monero in 2026
Exodus ended Monero support on 18 August 2025, and Trust Wallet has no native XMR. The multi-coin wallets we would use for Monero in October 2026 are Cake Wallet and Stack Wallet, which scan on your device. Guarda, Edge, Atomic, Unstoppable and THORWallet also offer XMR, with trade-offs.
The short answer
Monero is harder to support than most coins, because a wallet has to scan every block with your view key. Some big multi-coin apps have dropped it; others take a shortcut and let a server scan for you. If you want one app for several coins and XMR, pick one that scans locally: Cake Wallet or Stack Wallet.
Status table (October 2026)
| Wallet | XMR status | How XMR syncs | Open source | Our view |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cake Wallet | Supported | Local scan | Yes | Recommended |
| Stack Wallet | Supported | Local scan | Yes | Recommended |
| Unstoppable Wallet | Supported (mobile) | Local scan, per getmonero.org | Yes | Reasonable; newer XMR support |
| Guarda | Supported (web, extension, desktop, mobile) | Not documented | Not confirmed for XMR | Use with caution |
| Edge | Supported (mobile) | Server-assisted; view key shared | Not confirmed | Convenient, less private |
| Atomic Wallet | Listed | Not documented | No | Not recommended |
| THORWallet | Added 5 October 2026 | On device, per its announcement | Not confirmed | Too new to judge |
| Exodus | Removed 18 August 2025 | n/a | No | Move your XMR out |
| Trust Wallet | No native XMR | n/a | n/a | Not an option |
Exodus: Monero removed
Exodus ended Monero support on 18 August 2025 "to streamline product offerings", according to its support notice. You can still recover XMR: export the 25-word Monero mnemonic (in Exodus Desktop under Settings, Assets, Monero private keys; mobile users sync to Desktop first) and import it into a Monero wallet such as Cake. Exodus pointed users to Cake Wallet. XMR held on a Trezor was unaffected; use it through the Monero GUI, Feather or Cake. Step-by-step: restore a Monero wallet.
Trust Wallet
Trust Wallet does not support native Monero; its community forum confirms you cannot receive XMR in the app. Anything labelled XMR there is not real Monero on the Monero blockchain. Do not send XMR to a Trust Wallet address.
Guarda
Guarda is practically the only mainstream multi-coin wallet still offering XMR in a web browser and a browser extension, as well as on desktop and mobile. On 29 June 2026 it announced native Monero subaddresses across all its apps. Guarda does not document how its Monero scanning works, so we cannot tell whether your view key goes to a server. Treat it as convenient but unverified, and read why web wallets carry extra risk.
Edge
Edge is listed on getmonero.org as the one wallet using remote synchronisation, meaning your private view key is shared with a server that scans for you. The server cannot spend your coins but can see incoming payments. Edge historically used MyMonero's backend; which server it uses after MyMonero closed on 6 January 2026 is not publicly documented. See what a view key reveals.
Atomic Wallet
Atomic still lists XMR. It is closed source, its Monero sync method is undocumented, and in June 2023 more than 100 million dollars was drained from users' wallets in an attack attributed to North Korea's Lazarus Group (Decrypt, June 2023). When we checked, its iOS app was marked temporarily unavailable. We do not recommend it for Monero.
Unstoppable Wallet
Unstoppable is an open-source mobile wallet that announced Monero in mid-2025, building new Swift and Kotlin Monero libraries on the monero_c core. getmonero.org lists it among locally synchronising wallets. Its XMR support is younger than Cake's, so start with small amounts.
THORWallet
THORWallet announced native XMR send and receive on 5 October 2026 in a sponsored press release, saying keys, balances and history are computed on your device and that you can set a custom node. Cross-chain XMR swaps were described as still being tested and audited. It is too new for us to assess.
How to choose
- Does the wallet scan on your device, or send your view key to a server?
- Is the code open source?
- Can you set your own node and use Tor?
- Will it support Monero's FCMP++ upgrade when it comes? Smaller XMR integrations may lag.
For savings, a dedicated Monero setup with a hardware wallet is safer than any multi-coin app: see Monero hardware wallets. For the full shortlist, see best Monero wallets.
Safety notes
- Type wallet addresses yourself (for example cakewallet.com, stackwallet.com, guarda.com) or use bookmarks.
- If a wallet drops XMR, export your seed or keys before the deadline and restore them in a Monero wallet.
- Never type a seed into a site promising to "migrate" or "rescue" your Monero.
Frequently asked questions
Does Exodus still support Monero?
No. Exodus ended Monero support on 18 August 2025. You can export the 25-word Monero mnemonic from Exodus Desktop and restore it in a Monero wallet such as Cake Wallet.
Can I hold Monero in Trust Wallet?
No. Trust Wallet does not support native Monero, so you cannot receive XMR there.
Which multi-coin wallet is best for Monero?
Cake Wallet and Stack Wallet are our picks, because both are open source and scan the Monero blockchain on your device.
Is Guarda safe for Monero?
Guarda is a known multi-coin wallet, but it does not document how its Monero scanning works, and its web version carries the usual risks of browser wallets. We suggest a local-scanning wallet for meaningful amounts.
Why do some wallets drop Monero?
Monero needs each wallet to scan every block with the view key, which is harder to build and run than most coins. Exchange delistings and regulation have also reduced demand from some companies.
